ABOUT SBDP:

A cutting-edge modern dance troupe, Sarah Bush Dance Project has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most versatile dance companies in San Francisco.  The group’s versatility is owed in large part to the extensive training background of Founder and Creative Director, Sarah Bush.  Sarah possesses a BA in Modern Dance, which included studies of Afro-Caribbean, ballet, tap and contact improv, as well as studio training in NYC and LA in hip-hop and jazz.  She has performance experience with gospel, liturgical, go-go, and hip-hop companies, the NBA Golden State Warrior Girls, as a guest performer with Bill T. Jones, and the political Taiko-drumming warrior women of the Dance Brigade.
